Saturday, Oct. 3. Boone, NC. BeansTalk.

We played a show in Boone, NC, a foggy mountain town that is home to Appalachian State University. The show was at a quaint coffee shop called BeansTalk. We crammed so many college students into the small upstairs. The show was with Carli Taich, Andrew Weathers and Arte Povera. Bryan played this one, too.

Our host, Jordan of Arte Povera, has a lot of school spirit. We stayed on campus and checked out the statue of their mascot, Touchdown Yosef.

Jordan showed us around Boone. We discovered Cheerwine and ate at a place called Cookout, where we were confused by the menu and had a Cheerwine float. We also discovered a secret arcade through the "Restrooms" door at a breakfast place where we stopped to have oatmeal on the way out of town.
